Our core belief is Service Above Self. We enjoy hands-on opportunities to work together to serve our community's needs. Past service events include delivering Thanksgiving meals to those in need, sorting paint at Matthew 25 Ministries, building beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace and clearing the landscaping at Tabitha's Closet.
Every year we set out early Thanksgiving morning to deliver pre-cooked Thanksgiving meals with all the trimmings to local families in the Mason and Kings School districts ensuring that they have a delicious meal as they celebrate the day.
In December 2024 we joined with other local groups to provide gifts to children in the area. Around 800 children were able to choose several gifts including blankets, books, spirit wear and toys. They were also sent home with bags of groceries to create several meals to enjoy with their families. We are pleased to be an ongoing supporter of this project!
We hold several fundraising events each year, which enable us to provide assistance to qualifying non-profit organizations. For guidelines and application form go to the forms page for a downloadable PDF. Applications are only accepted yearly between October 1st and December 31st.
In 2024 our club sponsored a local mural along the Downtown Mason Mile. A competition was held to create the mural inspired by a line from the Rotary Four Way Test, Building Goodwill and Better friendships.
A local artist painted the mural with the assistance of two students from Mason High School and Kings High School working as interns alongside the artist and designer.
