New in 2024  

The Rotary Club of Mason Deerfield is pleased to offer an award to graduating High School Seniors residing in the Mason & Deerfield Twp. area that exemplify the Rotary mission of Service Above Self. Yearly award(s) of $2,000 will be given to qualified candidates in recognition of this service and awardees may use the funds to assist them in the next phase of their lives. 

Students may be nominated or self-nominate for this award.

The Rotary's Royalty program was started by our member Vickie and celebrates students in Mason and Kings High Schools who have been nominated by their teachers.  Teachers are asked to nominate students who have shown heart -  students who strive to improve themselves and help others they meet along the way.  Rotarian’s drop by the schools to present certificates to nominated students. In addition, one student per month is selected to attend our meeting with his or her  teacher and family, where they receive the Rotary Royalty’s Student of the Month award..

 Are you a high school student who has dreamed of what it would be like  to study abroad as a foreign exchange student? The Rotary Youth Exchange  program is a low-cost scholarship program tailor-made for you. Almost  10,000 students study abroad every year with Rotary Youth Exchange!  Each year, our club sponsors high school sophomores and juniors who wish to take part in the RYLA event held at Camp Kern. The three-day weekend event is a time of fun and fellowship, where the students practice critical thinking and learn key leadership skills.
